Joey and Karen found each other in the summer of 2015 in California. They first met at boba tea cafe and instantly clicked — they were both designers in tech, left their hometowns to come to Silicon Valley, and had so much in common. They couldn't stop laughing and smiling, and so one meeting led to the next... and the rest is history!

Joey proposed on July 12, 2019, almost four years into their relationship. He invited her over for dinner, where he made pasta from scratch (food is the way into *both* of their hearts) and popped the question.

We're excited to celebrate this new chapter of our lives with you!
